I didn't realize there were 12 forms, to be exact, of the present tense forms in English. As I mentioned in the previous section, I believe I have better grammar than a lot of other native English speakers because of what I learned in high school. Reading about the different tenses was just a matter of review and also to learn the different names for each type of tense. The common mistakes listed in each section is something that I notice even when kids speak and I can understand why they are common mistakes. I think English grammar is a lot more difficult than most people realize and those learning English as a second language tend to directly translate sentence structures from their native language to English. I believe that this is where a lot of error stems from.
