I think that this unit could be beneficial for individuals who have never really worked in a classroom setting. Personally, I've worked in many different classrooms in elementary schools for a few years so it felt a little bit like common sense. Students want a teacher that they can relate to, feel comfortable with, and respect. Being positive with students will get you so much further. I think a lot of this stuff needs to be learned in real classroom settings. You can always tell if a teacher is using teaching methods because it's simply what they read or if they actually know what they are doing and why.
