I feel that this unit, and Unit 1, are the best examples for what we can expect to handle in the classroom. While most of the information in this unit seems like common sense, I know that is not the case for every TEFL student reading these units. It is welcoming to be able to categorize known data with fresh information.
For instance, the sections dealing with problem behavior. I had not made the connection to behavioral codes of conduct in relation to doling out discipline. Something that made sense to me as a student I had completely missed when thinking about being a teacher.
I look forward to utilizing the different seating arraignments for my lessons as necessary.
