This unit covered the importance and structure of lesson planning and was easily followed and made sense to me. I learnt the importance of not being too structured and rigid as it is important to be prepared for the unexpected and be able to go with the flow of the class. Having had experience teaching other subjects in my past, I had learnt this from experience.This unit discussed about the importance of pronunciation, phonology,teaching techniques for stress,intonation,phonemic alphabet, symbols and exercises,manners of articulation,speech organs and biology,suggestions and resources for teaching ideas and materials to be applied and used for future lessons.I find this challenging but an interesting part of this study.
