This unit covers the present tense in English grammar. In general, English has twelve tenses that fall under past, present and future. Each of them have 4 aspects: simple, continuous, perfect, and perfect continuous. The unit then breaks down all 4 of the present tenses: present simple, present continuous, present perfect, and present perfect continuous. In each area the unit talks about what each one looks like, how the verbs are used, activity suggestions, and common mistakes students make in those areas. While English grammar is ingrained in me, it has been a long time since I've studied the terms associated with English grammar. This was a good refresher on those terms as well as a good layout of when they are used, so that I can better explain how and why they are used.
