In this unit I learned about Modals auxiliary verbs, the passive voice in detail, phrasal verbs and relative clauses.Modal Auxiliary Verbs are:can, could, may, might, shall, should, will, would, must, have to,have got to ,need to. They are used before other verbs to add meaning to the main verb.I also learned about the active and the passive voice. I also learned about clauses. A clause is a group of words containing a subject and a verb.It was very interesting to see all the different approaches existing about how one should teach a language. ESA seems to be a well balanced methodology using the best of the teaching techniques used in the past. It gives some warming up time to the students through the Engage phase and let them aquire new knowledge during the Study phase and then the opportunity to communicate freely in English using all the language they know.
