It was wonderful seeing a real, well-taught class in its entirety. This gives me something to aim for in my lesson planning. I think the non-examples, though fairly obvious, served as a reminder that the teacher has a huge impact on student learning, behavior and participation. His dour attitude would certainly have intimidated me! Good contrast between videos. I liked this unit.I have learnt types of past tenses which I have found difficult and confusing in the past. This unit has made me understand the tenses very clearly. The tenses are actually very basic and easy to understand with teacher explaining clearly. I have also received ideas for activities and techniques which I can use with students in the class for their better understanding in tenses.
