This unit focused on the different Theories, Methods, and Techniques that are commonly used in the classroom. I found this unit to be quite informative in regard to explaining the multiple teaching methods that are out there. Unlike the grammar unit, this unit was one that I was not as familiar with due to limited time on the teaching side of the classroom. I learned a lot about the different techniques that can be used by teachers to help convey a message and fully explain a talking point. At the same time I now have a good understanding of why certain teachers and professors I have had in the past ran their classrooms in a particular way. This unit was a great look into the mind of a teacher to really see why certain methods are used for teaching and has been my favorite thus far.
