This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit was more fun to learn and compare with the present tense unit. As I was learning throughout this unit, I was starting to notice the patterns with the different forms. For example, as stated in the beginning, all continuous forms have the verb with an -ing ending and use the auxiliary verb 'to be'. The perfect form always has some form of 'to have' and has a past participle. In the present tense, the perfect form would connect the past to the present while in the past tense, it connects one past event to the main past event being discussed. So in my mind I always think of 'connecting something to something' when I see think of the perfect form. Overall, I feel that this unit will be easy to teach by through showing examples and scenarios.
