The last unit of the course focuses on troubleshooting and gives very useful tips for inexperienced teachers like myself. Starting on how to approach the first ever lesson of a course, the unit moves onto suggesting warming up activities to engage the students during class. Strategies for teaching classes with different level of English are discussed, as well as how to best teach large classes or how to deal with reluctant students. The use of the native language, especially when teaching a monolingual class, is also discussed: various ways in which the teacher can encourage the usage of English in the classroom are suggested. Lastly, problems than can be encountered with listening skills are outlined and ideas of how to resolve them given.
