This unit talks about the different methods used within teaching. It starts with the classical method and ends with ESA. This unit taught me how teaching has evolved through the ages. It addition, it taught the positive and negative aspects of different methods. I couldn't help but to notice how much teaching parallels the psychology of the time, which is something I never thought about.During this unit, we learned about the different ways to teach productive skills which are speaking and writing as well as the stages and activities that we can use to keep students engaged during the different phases of an ESA lesson. I learned that we have to introduce the new vocabulary and use prompts as well as eliciting the answers from the students if we want them to complete the task.
