A brief lesson, but one worth addressing. I honestly don't know what to say. We need material as means to help teach. If we lack the experience or creativity to develop our own material you need to use material from other sources. The list for analyzing a course book it excellent. Although experience is still necessary to grade the quality and importance of each bullet point, the list breaks down the factors nicely.This unit was great to know the different kinds of students that can be in the classroom, and the different types of classroom scenarios this can produce. I found the entire course really great, and hope to be able to start teaching soon. This lesson was also a reminder that all students are different and that it is the teachers job to ensure they are interested, engaged, and learning at every stage and in every class.
