This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit on lesson planning helped me to learn how to be prepared for each class and how to plan a sequence of lessons. The lesson plan worksheets and post-mortem (self-evaluation) forms were very helpful, especially as I am starting out. It raises the question if there are some pre-fabricated lesson plans available? I am confident these exist somewhere that they could be adapted rather than having to reinvent the wheel for each lesson plan. The information about the use of the present perfect simple for “experiences†and the use of “might†and “may†for “possibilities†was interesting. I was not aware of the rules for using these two language items. There is always something to learn.
