In this unit I have learned the importance of teacher role adaptability and why it can be very useful to be able to change roles quickly to suit a given situation, for example whilst taking a manager role at the front of a class and you notice the learners become more distracted and less motivated it may be wise to switch to a facilitator role and give the leaners a task to do in which they use their initiative. Within this unit I have also learned about different language levels learners can be at; I have learned key differences between learners of different age groups; and I have learned what the main motivational reasons a person would decide to learn English (mostly adult learners as under 18's are usually made to learn)
