When it comes to selecting vocabulary to teach, teachers have to consider properly as students may find it off-putting if words chosen are far beyond their language level, especially for those beginners. Teachers have the responsibility to ensure that the students are not overloaded with information. In this case, teachers have to strike in order to achieve balance, at the same time ensuring that the students get what they are supposed to know. Learning stresses the needs of exposure and practices, and is perhaps ideally used with 'Boomerang' and 'Patchwork' type ESA lessons. However, we, as teachers, have to develop a sense of flexibility by always trying new approaches to motivate our students.
