This unit covered several aspects of using workbooks and class materials when teaching TEFL lessons. The advantages and disadvantages of course materials were explored in detail, with the conclusion that good materials and creative teaching provide the best learning experience for students. The unit provided me with a good perspective on course materials and I will adapt my use of them in future.The unit explained me how the course is set up and what to expect of it. The terminology overvieuw and explanation of the fact that one does not need specific training in the area where you will be teaching English is very helpful and reassuring. Apart from that the unit explained about the different ways and set ups of teaching English, like teaching in a language center, in house or one to one.
