I can see that this unit would be very difficult for non native speakers. Even for myself there are sections of this that I find confusing and I directly refer to my intuition to answer. That will not fly for them and I can not teach them as such either. It is interesting to see the different uses for the 0-mixed conditionals. This helps to remember the forms. As stated in the unit, these will be taught one by one, slowly. I previously never understood the use of italics in quotes by others and that is something great to know. Reported speech seems particularly complex as we are reporting what some has said. The grammar changes twice! Most of my students can't get it anywhere close the first time!
