This unit contained the a description of the 4 aspects of the present tense, including: how to recognize them; how they change from affirmative to negative; their form as a question; how to use them; how to teach them; and the mistakes commonly associated with them. Most of my learning occurred around the technical formulas for how to recognize them, and the technical explanations for how they should be used. Also it is helpful to include the common mistakes and errors, as we should expect to see them arise in the work of our students. If we can anticipate them, then we can prepare to prevent them from occurring or at least have a strategy for correcting them.
