This unit provides information on how to cater to the learning needs of different groups. I learned that while some teaching methods might stay constant throughout classes, depending on the group, there needs to be adjustments and specialization. The way I teach adults in business and the way I teach younger students differs for instance. While I might be more professional and aware of the business background of the adult students in business, for younger students, a more enjoyable teaching method is helpful. By incorporating games, demonstrating enthusiasm and providing positive feedback to build self esteem, younger students can usually gain the most in their learning experience.
