This unit is about teaching productive skills. Productive skills include speaking and writing. I completely agree with this unit when it mentions that writing is the most neglected skill in the TEFL world. I agree that in class writing assignments are much better than giving writing assignments as homework. My past experiences have proven that writing assignments given as homework are often neglected. This unit breaks down the speaking section between the accuracy activities and the fluency activities. Both accuracy and fluency activities are equally important. Accuracy activities are usually a part of the study phase. Fluency activities are usually part of the activate phase. The section on how to plan a creative writing lesson is very helpful. The section on ideas for games is also helpful. I have personally used some of these games in my classes.
