The future simple is one of the most complex area of the English language.
1. future simple is used :
-future facts and certainties;
-promises;
-predictions (based ob n present evidence);
-assumptions/speculations;
-spontaneous decision;
-treats.
2. future continuous is used:
-to say that something will be in progress at a particular moment in the future;
-to predict the present;
-to polite enquiries;
-to refer to future events which are fixed or decided.
3.future perfect is used to say that something will have been done, completed or achieved be a certain time in a future.
4. future perfect continuous is used when we want to say how long something will have continued be a certain time.
5. be going+infinitive ( going to future) is used:
-intentions;
-predictions based on present evidence;
-plans.
6. present simple is used:
-to suggest a more formal situation;
-for timetables and schedules;
-to suggest a more impersonal tone/
7. present continuous is used:
- for definite arrangement;
- for decision and plans without a time frame.
