An overview of the content of this unit can be summed up as \"managing classes\" as the title of the course unit states. Different methods/techniques applied internationally in class management were discussed, for example, the ways to group students, etc. How to arrange the classroom seating and where to situate the teacher's position during classes were also fairly examined. I have been able to understand better how to handle and properly effect good classroom management.Teaching English as foreign language can often be very challenging. It is important that language teachers should be able to adapt to students? individual and group needs. On the first day of class, the use of the course book is a no-no. Teachers should first establish rapport with the students and set the tone for the rest of the course. It is also equally important to find out their language needs, so lesson materials and activities be adapted according to their level.
