Looking at defining and non-defining relative clauses was definitely new to me. However when seeing the difference in the use of commas it became very clear to distinguish the two types of relative clauses apart. One topic I definitely had some trouble understanding (and still do a little) was the different types of phrasal verbs. A few more examples showing the difference between the three types of phrasal verbs would have been very helpful.In this lesson, I have learned about the most common method of teaching English known as ESA. The E stands for Engage. In this stage, the teacher tries to get the students to be interested and involved in the lesson. The S stands for Study. At this stage, students will practice new material. Lastly, the A stands for Activate. This is the stage where students get to apply what they have just learned in a free and communicative scenario.
