In indirect speech, the structure of the reported clause depends on whether the speaker is reporting a statement, a question or a command.We commit erorrs due to the constant change in the form of tenses.My dillema concerns the usage of modals in expressing willingness or possibility in reported speech, and i append some sentences for reviewUnit 6 explores the 4 types of past tenses, i.e. simple past, past continuous, past perfect, and past perfect continuous. The unit also lists when to use each past tense with examples, making it easier for me to differentiate between the past tenses.
