Unit 17 dipped into the discussion of equipment and teaching aids. This lesson held a lot of valuable information on what type of equipment you might have in a classroom and how to use it most effectively in your teaching. Although most of these types of equipment act as an aid, this unit also stresses understanding proper usage of each device and also having back up plans (especially in the instance of using technology) just in case something goes wrong.This unit covered the past tenses in English. I found it to be a very good representation of what I am already familiar with. What I found most useful were the sections that highlighted upon the common mistakes that foreginers make, including but not limited to: forgeting to use did and did not for questions, knowing when to add or omit the verb to be, and the tendency to forget \"had\" and \"been\" in the construction of the past perfect continuous form.
