This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
The unit provided some great ideas on how to introduce to students new vocabulary and language structures.
I liked that it gave a detailed description of different activities and methods to use during engage, study and activate stages of the lesson. Also, a couple of actual ESA lessons of different types (straight arrow, boomerang and patchwork) were presented which can be especially useful for new teachers. Great unit, short and filled with information.I feel that knowing how to change direct speech into reported speech is very important as it is something that you would often use when having conversations with others. Understanding the correct use of conditionals is also very important as knowing how to state actions and consequences in the correct manner is very useful. Although it can often seem very theoretical, the unit did provide great ideas for how to teach students to use it in the correct way.
