This unit discusses the effective approaches on managing classes. It displays the practicality of using simple body languages (eye contact, gesture, voice) to give out meaningful messages. The unit also presents a detailed information on the pros and cons of the various styles of students grouping and classroom arrangement. It also taught me on how to give instructions, to control teacher/students talk time, and to respond to the students' problem behaviour effectively.Seeing the difference between an effective lesson and non effective lesson in demonstration definitely helps to give me a guideline of the most effective ways to teach english. Primarily the importance of having a good attitude while teaching will encourage the students to want to participate in the class. Between the two videos there were many things that the teacher done differently but I believe that attitude is the most vital for involving the students in the class.
