This module outlines the 7 most common future tenses, namely, future simple, future continuous, future perfect, future perfect continuous, be going to, present simple, present continuous. The future simple is used for basic statements has the form 'will'+ 'verb'. The future continuous has the form 'will' + 'be' + 'verb-ing'. The future perfect uses 'will' + 'have' + 'past participle'. The future perfect continuous has the form 'will' + 'have' + 'been' + 'verb-ing'. Be going to has is made up by saying the verb to be + going to + base form of the verb. The present continuous and present simple have the same form as in present tense but can still be used for things happening in the future. The module as a whole explains when to use each tense appropriately, some are used for predictions, some for facts, some are used to say things that will continue by a certain time.
