Ä° think its important that when we do learn a language, we do develop both receptive skills and productive skills.
Receptive skills we use like understanding when you listen and also when reading . The productive skills are also important as like a jigsaw puzzle all the pieces go together to make it whole.
When you learn a language, you develop both receptive skills and productive skills
Productive skills, which are speaking and writing which i find are as important, as you can take this learnt language and put a message across with speech or written text that you want others to understand.
Ä° think learning English we need all of these skills. Students of course will have different strengths and weaknesses from each other thats whats makes people unique so i think its better to not compare students as some will be strong in some and weak in others.
