Certain elements determine the behavior of a student and class: age, language level (beginner, low intermediate, intermediate, upper intermediate, advanced), culture, etc. With this knowledge, a teacher can know more about what is generally expected from them as well as what to expect from different types of students. This can help a teacher know how to approach certain topics and students within the classroom and how to conduct themselves to be a good teacher.
