This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
I like the problem-based structure. It's something I could do in my classes as I’m often running one-way group classes. Makes it much easier for me to just facilitate and not have to lecture or teach the entire time. I also like what was said about games; instead of thinking of the game first, think of the material and see what games would match the material. I like that in the role play sample lesson, the teacher has the students brainstorm on the board possible topics that could come up which give students something to look at when they get stuck. I may actually use Lesson Plan 1 in a class as it has a good flow. Really actually all the sample lesson plans are good examples for lessons however, I know as a busy teacher, I don’t have time to make, print, cut, and prepare so many materials when I am making lesson plans of my own.
