I think most people take it for granted how they read, for example skimming or scanning. The non English speaking student I realize now doesn't necessarily know the different types of reading, and knowing the different types could be very helpful in learning English. This could help in learning not to read word for word, but for content. I hope I will be able to make good selections of texts to create interests in the subjects to help with the flow of learning.Aside receptive skills which are( reading and listening), we also have productive skills which are (speaking and writing). under speaking , students have to be able to know the difference between accuracy which is teacher guided and falls under the study phase of the lesson and fluency which falls under the activity stage of the lesson . writing entails a good hand writing,spellings, punctuation and more.A good mastery of these skills will produce a good lesson .
