This unit was important because it taught me how to teach different types of students and size of classes. There are different techniques for teaching individual students, groups of students or groups of multicultural students. Also, teaching young learners and learners of business English will required different teaching styles. It's helpful to know that I don't have to know the business industry when teaching business English, but other challenges, such as motivation, may be present.Vocabulary is what we use to understand the things we use. Without vocabulary we can't speak. Everything has a name and we need to learn the names of each thing and then how to use the names properly in sentences. Students need to find out the names for various objects so that they can increase their knowledge of the world and can make up sentences and ask questions. I enjoyed this lesson, it was simple and straight forward. I really appreciated the examples for setting up a class period.
