This final section covers large class groups, reluctant students, and fist lessons. The challenges of having large classrooms can be managed by taking one of three approaches for
improving student's comprehension and attention. Reluctant students may be motivated by pairing them up with another student, doing role plays, and using a tape recorder to express their feelings safely. These allow the student to \"step outside of themselves\" and express themselves uniquely than they would otherwise in the classroom. First lessons should include warmer activities, establishing rapport with the students--followed by an activity to assess their language abilities. I learned that one does not always need to be in a teaching mode to be an effective teacher, but rather use motivation as a key to instilling English into new learners.
