This unit presents the seven types of Future Tenses: Future Simple, Future Continuous, Future Perfect, Future Perfect Continuous, Be going + infinitive, Present Simple, and Present Continuous. Due to the number of tenses and the fact that some of these tenses are also included under present tense, future tense is a very difficult tense for students to learn. As usual for the grammar units, this unit presents the form, the usages, common errors and mistakes, and activity ideas for each tense. Many of these usages confused and still confuse me, as they are not things that native speakers are often consciously aware of and I plan to analyze my own speech and writing by using the information used in these tenses. Some of my students will soon be learning future tense so this unit is especially important for me at this time.
