An enjoyable unit, this to me is the \"getting ready\" to teach. Great points throughout the unit.
Voice, gestures and eye contact all were pretty straight forward, little things like using the names at the end of a question, keeping everyone alert. Various grouping the students allowing for STT, great ideas. Classroom arrangement all new to me having been use to only orderly rows through my educational career. Not talking while writing on the board, little things like this are tips we will use throughout our teaching careers. Establishing rapport to me is one of the most important tips. Lack of student respect is a losing battle in the classroom. Again, good tips on dealing with student behavior problems and even more important \"why\" are there behavior problems. This was just an overall and enjoyable chapter...thanks
