This unit used two videos to compare a poor lesson with a good lesson. The first lesson modeled several mistakes made by the teacher, including not knowing the students' names, displaying a grumpy demeanor, not clearly explaining what he wanted students to understand, and not modeling what he wanted the students to do. In the second lesson, the teacher engaged the students well, learned their names, and properly helped the students accomplish the class objective.In this unit, we learned about the importance of giving exams. Diagnostics and placement tests can help teachers know how to go about with their course lessons. Progression tests help motivate and check in on how students are absorbing the information. As a student, I hated the anxiety and nervousness an exam would cause me. When looking at the purpose further then the mark behind it, it did help me evaluate the time needed to implicate when studying for an exam.
