This unit gave me a refresher about tense forms, specifically the four present tenses that are commonly used. It was an interesting reminder that, like the unit on grammar, that while English speakers use these forms every day without thinking about it so much, non-native speakers have a difficult time navigating the tenses; sometimes even English speakers use tenses incorrectly without even thinking about it! It was good to have the four tenses laid out in an easy guide that lays out the rules about how they are used, the common mistakes and how a teacher can use activities to get the point across.
