The unit about teaching students of various special groups is very insightful. From the various degrees of cultural backgrounds and demographics of the students/clients you will meet as a teacher in the classrooms to the vast range and levels of English knowledge and motivation of each individual. This unit gives a great oversight for starting teachers to become aware of how our behaviours as teachers urges us to adapt to the different requirements and needs of all kinds of students. I appreciate this unit being at the very end of the course, after having learned a good foundation from the variety of methods presented in the course material first, prior this unit. This information will be a stable structure to fall back on when inexperienced teacher become unsure about certain things along the way.
