In this unit, I have learned many methods of teaching. A particularly important method would be ESA (Engage, Study and Activate). Three types of ESA method have been introduced, the 'straight arrow' method, the 'boomerang' method and the 'patchwork' method. Different methods allow a different combination of the ESA stages, and within each stage, different activities can be carried out to arouse the students' interest, allowing students to understand or learn about the language, and finally allow the students to use the language 'freely' and as communicatively as possible. In conclusion, this unit has allowed teachers to be creative and provided guidance in planning and thinking for any lessons.
