This chapter shows helpful ways in introducing new vocabulary/concepts to the class. In teaching, it can be very easy to be overwhelmed with what is and isn't beneficial to the class; if the information isn't carefully sorted, it can be confusing to students. By knowing the sorting criteria for vocabulary, this becomes less stressful. An example of the efficiency of this could be shown through altering one of the factors, like frequency for example, if I want my students to understand and use present continuous tense, I will setup lessons and daily ask questions that require that type of use, i.e. students choose random verbs, I write them on the board, and we go around, and I ask the students to create a present continuous statement; this is very quick and would be sufficient to keep this use maintained in their minds.
