Where it goes on to talk about time expressions, the diagram would be more clear if the text was by the arrows. In explaining backshifting, telling me ?today becomes that day?yesterday becomes the day before? would be more helpful if I see it in a sentence. I did not find the diagram very helpful overall. Where it said ?The golden rule with all the different categories..,? nothing in the lesson explicitly states \"categories.\" So this leaves me to decide what we are talking about. Just my suggestions to improve this lesson. I found the teaching ideas, like the ?bunker game,? or ?intermediaries? to be amusing and see myself using them.
