In this unit, I learned a lot about different test in the UK. I learned about the TOIEC test that is very famous here in Korea. It was helpful to read about it properly. When I ask my Korean friends. They explain it as a difficult test that they need to get a job in Korea. It was helpful to learn that even as a native speaker, I would most likely do poorly on this test. Other things that I learned that I felt was interesting was learning about the difference between placement test and diagnostic test. One is where you are placing a student in an appropriate level class. The Diagnostic test is a test you give the students at the beginning of the class. This test is to gage their levels.
