The current unit provided a brief description of various EFL methodologies and focused primarily on the ESA method, detailing the common strategies employed within each component of this method. I appreciated the pragmatism of this unit. I'm certain that I will be referring to this unit as I progress through this course and as an EFL teacher. I not only learned very practical approaches to guiding students through a lesson, but I also recognized how my reactions to their mistakes and errors can have an impact on their confidence, motivation, and engagement. Although the issue of correction was a relatively small section, I found it to be particularly helpful.
