The topic of this Unit is course development. First it gives an overview on the first meeting with the students and about level testing and needs analysis. What i found important to know and remember is to test for a level first, place the students in the according level and then do a needs analysis.
The next big topic that was covered is how to design a syllabus. There are different syllabus emphasis such as student syllabus or material syllabus for example.
What I have learned ist that it is important to have and give the students a tructre so thez know what they while learn in the course. Also a test at hte end will help the student to see their achievement and use it furtehr in their job. An evalutation at the end of the course helps to see what went well and to improve further in teaching.
