Today i learnt about the types of classes you may have to teach to a variety of different students with different needs and English competency. I learned about teaching beginners and a variety of items to consider such as possible problems that may occur when teaching them. Next i learnt about teaching individual students on a one on one basis. I was given tips and suggestions on how to do this effectively. Following this i learnt about teaching students and how you are expected to deal with a class of that English competency and behavior patterns. I learnt about teaching business English and the various expectations and techniques such as conducting a conducting a needs analysis. Lastly i learned about the difference between teaching monolingual and multi lingual classes and the advantages and disadvantages of doing so.
