This unit focused on teaching smaller or more unique groups. As I am currently teaching at a middle school in Japan and may teach at an elementary school in the future, I found the section on teaching children to be particularly helpful. I learnt about the different ways to handle teaching English to children, and different techniques I may choose to employ to make a lesson smoother and catered towards young children. The teaching Business English section was also interesting and may be relevant to me as teaching Business English for a Japanese company may be an option for me in the future. In particular, the tips for course creation and the example worksheet for the Needs Analysis are things that I feel may be useful for me in the near future.
