This was a short lesson in terms of the material that was covered. I believe this lesson could have been organized a little differently, that being said, I was interested in the tips needed to analyze materials needed in choosing course materials. What I did like as well was the focus on making the teacher knowledgeable about their own autonomy in how they choose to use the course materials in the classroom. What I leave this lesson feeling is a call of action to not rely solely on the book. I also like that it brought back the discussion on authentic materials vs. curated no authentic materials. I hope that I am able to implement a good balance between all of these covered topics to optimize learning in my classes.
