Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

In this lesson we learned about teaching pronunciation and phonology. This was my most difficult lesson thus far. I especially found the part about the phonology hard. I will probably need to spend a lot of extra time on this lesson in the future. But I did enjoy learning about how noises are made.Learning that there are different types of testing that can take place over the course of a language class was really helpful in identifying what types would be needed for when. As a teacher, it is important to be able to gauge the ability of the students and what they may or may not have retained. This unit is about the different ways to run a class in comparison to teachers fulfilling the role of the class organizer and the students playing a part in helping each other. It also discusses the right and wrong ways to address problematic behavior and factors that can impact behavior problems.
