This final sixth unit discussed the real teaching world of Business English and the various aspects of it. These included business and cultural etiquette and how to best integrate into a new country and culture, including questions you should be able to answer about the country. There are a few general rules of thumb to follow no matter where a teacher will go to teach, such as avoiding sarcasm in the classroom as it will likely be misunderstood, and to err on the side of conservative behavior until you know what is socially acceptable in that country. The unit also discussed the many options surrounding employment and how to best go about getting employment. This included how to find a job, whether online or in-person, how to construct a CV that will get you hired, and which questions to ask your employer during a job interview and which questions not to ask. Finally, the unit contained valuable resources for further teacher education, such as a diploma in TESOL. It also offered many various TEFL online resources, as well as resources for teacher organizations and associations.
